Vote for Tyco Entry in Corporate Citizenship Film Festival

Construction of water systems in Indonesia numbers among the Clean Water Access Initiative activities highlighted in Tyco’s film festival submission.

You – and your friends and family – are eligible to vote in the 2012 International Corporate Citizenship Film Festival, which includes a Tyco entry.

Tyco’s festival submission describes the Clean Water Access Initiative, Tyco’s unique partnership with Action Against Hunger | ACF International that’s providing support for disaster relief and water system construction projects in needy communities around the globe. The video is available for viewing from the Tyco home page and the film festival site.

All entries in the festival are available for public screening and voting on the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship website between Tuesday, February 14 and Sunday, March 3. People viewing the videos select their favorite, and the 10 entries receiving the most votes become festival finalists.

A panel of judges selects the festival winner from the 10 finalists. The winning entry will be announced at the 2012 International Corporate Citizenship Conference in Phoenix in late March.

The Tyco entry explains the strong correlation between unsafe drinking water and malnutrition and how Action Against Hunger and Tyco have joined forces through the Clean Water Access Initiative to tackle this global problem. This initiative is enhancing Action Against Hunger’s abilities to respond to natural disasters and enabling the partners to work together to build water systems that are improving the lives of thousands of people.
