GRI Reference

The table below may be used to cross reference information contained in Tyco's 2010 Annual Review & Corporate Responsibility Report with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) reporting framework. This framework sets out principles and performance indicators that organizations can use to measure and report their economic, environmental and social performance. Sustainability reporting guidelines–known as the G3 Guidelines–serve as the cornerstone of the framework. GRI is a network-based organization that develops its reporting framework through a consensus-seeking, multi-stakeholder process. Participants are drawn from global business, civil society, labor, academic, and professional institutions.
